Latest Obsession: White Ceramic Elephant from Pieces, Inc.

Elephants have traditionally been symbols of strength, wisdom and intelligence as well as luck. Buddha even chose a white elephant as one of his many incarnations. I've always loved elephants and this white porcelain statue from Pieces, Inc. in Atlanta has incredible detail at an incredible price!

I love the idea of having collections -- whether it is artwork by a particular artist, vintage bar ware or objects of a particular symbol that resonates with you. I recently started collecting elephants and this guy would be a great addition. Just make sure the trunk is pointed towards a window or a door or other source of light to ensure good luck! (I am superstitious to a fault and am teased ruthlessly by family and friends because of it.)
