Pinch Me...

The other night I was walking to the Monoprix (which is starting to be a daily experience for me -- is there a 12-step program for this kind of thing?) which takes me through the Jardin de Tuileries. While standing in the middle of the garden path I paused and had a total “pinch me” moment. From where I stood I could see The Musée d’Orsay, the Eiffel Tower, the French flag illuminated on top of the glass dome of the Grand Palais, the Place de La Concorde with the Arc de Triomphe in the background, and the Louvre. Are you kidding me!? I still can’t believe I’m here....
